SCCAR Appreciation Series - Policies & Procedures
The Snohomish County-Camano Association of REALTORS® is able to offer FREE Clock-hour classes to its members through the generosity and commitment of our Affiliate Member Sponsors. A coffee station is set up and served during the first 1/4 of the class only. This service is limited. Beverages may be purchased and brought into the classroom by each attendee.
Course Selection
Our Education Committee selects the courses in August of each year for the entire next calendar year. If you would like to see a particular course offered, please let us know. Comments and/or additional committee members are always welcome. Please contact Matthew Wahlquist, via email at matthew@sccar. com
Registration
Registrations will be accepted in written form only. You may register on-line, fax the registration form to 425-339-2454, stop by our office, or mail to our office at 3201 Broadway, Suite E, Everett WA 98201.
Confirmation
Registrations complete on-line will receive an immediate email confirmation. When paper registrations are being processed an email will be sent to the email address on file. All registrants will receive a confirmations by mail two weeks prior to each class for that class. Registrations received the week of the class will receive confirmation via email or phone.
Cancelation Policy
Cancelations must be called in to the Association (at 425-339-1388) 24 hours prior to the start of the class (by 8:30 a.m. the day before the class). If you do not cancel 24-hours before the date of the class and do not show - you will be billed a “no-show fee” in the amount of $35.00. Before your next registration to any SCCAR appreciation series class, the no-show fee must be paid.
Course Materials Policy: Course materials will be delivered via email prior to the class. You are responsible for printing your own materials. Please be sure to check your spam filter, as emails sent with attachments are more susceptible to spam filters. Pre-printed materials will be available the day of the class for a $5 charge.
Certificate of Completion:
All participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Washington Association of REALTORS® within four weeks from the completion of the course. Certificates of Completion are not required to complete your license renewal, they are only required by the Department of Licensing in the event that you are audited. Please keep the cover to your workbook in your education folder until you receive your certificate of completion. If you do not receive your certificate or it is misplaced please contact the Washington REALTORS® directly at 1-800-562-6024.
1. Arrive on time and sign the attendance sheet in the morning.
2. Return on time and sign the attendance sheet in the afternoon.
3. Stay in the classroom for the entire course offering. Required by law as per RCW 18-85-165.
4. Sign out at the end of the class.
