With your help the Snohomish County-Camano Association of REALTORS® stopped House Bill 2196- a new tax on homes.

HB 2196 would have allowed local governments to raise the Real Estate Excise Tax (REET) another .65%

Would have added over $1,500.00 to a median priced home in SnohomishCounty.

We generated more than 10,000 emails urging our Legislators to vote NO on 2196.

2/3 of the Legislators from Snohomish County committed to voting NO on this bill because of the emails and phone calls that you made.
