All real estate licensees are not the same. Only real estate licensees who are members of the national association of REALTORS® are properly called REALTORS®. REALTORS® are committed to treat all parties of a transaction honestly. REALTORS® also subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics which requires REALTORS® to utilize cooperative relationships and make ethical decisions in order to better serve their clients. REALTORS® are also dedicated to protecting the real estate industry from onerous regulations and excessive taxation, providing networking and professional growth opportunities in addition to providing quality education for free.
