Have You Satisified Your REALTOR® Code of Ethics Requirements?

The National Association of REALTORS® requires REALTOR® members to take at least 2.5 hours of REALTOR® Code of Ethics once every four-years. REALTOR® membership will be suspended if you do not complete the training within the required period of time. This requirement was effective January 01, 2001 and the first term ended December 31, 2004. The next four year term ends on December 31, 2008.

To be current on your Code of Ethics requirement you must have completed a 2.5 hr code of ethics class after January 01, 2001.

Here are some resources to complete your REALTOR® Code of Ethics training:

Live Ethics classes are available for a fee at the SCCAR office.
On-line Ethics training is available for free (no clock-hours) from the National Association of REALTORS®.
On-line classes are available for a fee through the Washington REALTORS®.
